About Karma Rivera
Karma Rivera is a Chicago-born Rap artist of Puerto Rican descent and a true hybrid-bridging Rap and pop with both mainstream appeal and witty wordplay. She moves fluidly between melody and bars, pairing hook-driven songs with confident, commanding verses. Rivera creates music that connects widely while still holding weight in hip-hop spaces.
While Priceless is Rivera’s debut album, she is by no means a newcomer. She landed on Willamette Week’s Best New Bands list in 2019, contributed to the creative team that helped unveil Portland International Airport’s new wood roof, and was honored with the Trailblazer Award at the 2025 PDX Star Awards during Portland’s annual Hip-Hop Week. Most recently, she appeared in Downtown Portland’s bold “Portland Sucks” campaign, closing the ad with the line, “Portland… for those who get it.”
